This website https://mymarga.com (the “Website”) is owned and operated by Riselii Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “Riselii,” “Marga,” “we,” “us,” or “our,” which expressions shall, where the context permits, include its affiliates, successors, and permitted assigns).
Welcome to Marga. By accessing or using our website, content, programs, community spaces, and related services (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1) Who can use Marga
You must be able to form a legally binding contract in your location to use paid Services. If you are using Marga on behalf of an organization, you represent you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
If you are a parent/guardian allowing a minor to use Marga, you are responsible for the minor’s activity and compliance with these Terms.
2) Accounts and access
You may need an account to access certain features. You agree to:

provide accurate information,

keep your login credentials confidential, and
-
notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.
We may suspend or terminate access if we believe your account is compromised or you violate these Terms.
3) What Marga provides (and what it is not)
Marga offers educational content, tools, and resources for personal development and learning.
Marga is not medical, mental-health, legal, or financial advice.
If you need professional help, consult a qualified professional. If you feel you may be at risk of harm, contact local emergency services.
4) Purchases, subscriptions, and billing (Stripe Payments)
Some parts of Marga may be free; others require payment.

Payments are processed through Stripe Payments (and its payment partners).

By purchasing, you authorize us (through Stripe Payments) to charge the payment method you provide for the prices shown, including applicable taxes.

If you choose a subscription, it will auto-renew unless you cancel before the renewal date.
Program Commitment: Marga Journeys are designed as structured learning experiences that unfold over time through guided lessons, cohort participation, and access to digital resources. By enrolling in a Marga program or subscription plan, families commit to participating for the selected billing period.
Cancellation: You can cancel a subscription through your account settings (if available) or by contacting us at support@mymarga.com. After cancellation, you will retain access until the end of the current billing period unless stated otherwise. Please refer to the cancellation policy listed here.
Refunds: All payments made to Marga are final and non-refundable.
Due to the immediate access provided to course materials, community spaces, and program resources, Marga does not offer refunds, partial refunds, or retroactive cancellations once a payment has been processed.
Exceptional circumstances - While refunds are not offered as a standard policy, Marga may review exceptional circumstances at its sole discretion. Any such decisions are made case-by-case and do not constitute a precedent or obligation for future refunds.
Price changes: We may change prices or subscription terms with advance notice where required by law.
Subscription Billing: For recurring plans (monthly, seasonal, or annual):

Payments are automatically billed at the start of each billing cycle.

Families may cancel future renewals at any time through their account settings.

Cancellation prevents future billing but does not refund payments already made.
Access to the program will remain available until the end of the current billing period.
Payment Disputes: By enrolling in a Marga program, participants agree to contact Marga support directly at support@mymarga.com to resolve any payment concerns before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with their financial institution.
5) Acceptable use
You, and where applicable your child, agree to use the Services appropriately and refrain from any misuse, including the following:

violate laws or regulations,

attempt unauthorized access, scrape, or disrupt the Services,
-
upload malware or harmful code,
-
harass, threaten, or abuse others,
-
post content that is unlawful, hateful, sexually exploitative, or otherwise harmful,
-
infringe intellectual property rights,
-
share login access in a way that violates your plan or intended personal use.
We may remove content or restrict access for violations.
6) Community guidelines (if community features are enabled)
If we offer cohorts, comments, forums, or community channels, you agree to:

be respectful and constructive,
-
avoid sharing sensitive personal information publicly,
-
not post content you don’t have permission to share,
-
understand that we may moderate content for safety and compliance.
We do not guarantee that all community content will be accurate or appropriate. Use discretion.
7) User content you submit
If you submit content (e.g., comments, reflections, messages, uploads), you retain ownership of your content.
However, you grant Riselii a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display your submitted content only as needed to operate and improve the Services and provide the features you use (for example, displaying your comment in the community).
You represent you have the rights to submit the content and that it does not violate law or third-party rights.
8) Intellectual property (Marga content)
All Marga content and materials—including videos, scripts, lesson structures, graphics, downloads, and trademarks—are owned by Riselii Inc. or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.
You may use the Services for personal, non-commercial use only unless we give written permission otherwise.
You may not:

copy, re-upload, redistribute, sell, sublicense, or create derivative works from our content,
-
remove watermarks/copyright notices,
-
share paid resources publicly.
Trademarks: “Marga” and related names/logos are trademarks of Riselii Inc. You may not use them without written permission.
9) Third-party services and links
Our Services may include links to third-party sites (e.g., YouTube) or tools. We are not responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices. Your use of third-party services is governed by their terms.
10) Availability and changes to the Services
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time, including content, features, and pricing. We try to provide reasonable notice for material changes, especially for paid subscribers.
11) Disclaimer of warranties
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
We do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that outcomes will meet your expectations.
12) Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:

Riselii Inc. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill.

Our total liability for any claim related to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim (or USD/CAD $100 if you have not paid us), unless law requires otherwise.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.
13) Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Marga and therein Riselii Inc. from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Services, your submitted content, or your violation of these Terms.
14) Termination
You may stop using the Services at any time.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, misuse the Services, or create risk or legal exposure for us. If your account is terminated, you must stop using the Services and may lose access to content, including paid content, subject to any required legal rights.
15) Governing law and disputes
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to the Services shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Canada and the laws of the Province of Alberta, without regard to conflict of law principles.
EU/UK consumers: You may also have mandatory consumer rights and protections under the laws of your country of residence, and nothing in these Terms limits those rights.
Jurisdiction: You agree that any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in the Province of Alberta, Canada, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of such courts. Disputes should first be addressed by contacting us at support@mymarga.com. If unresolved, disputes will be handled in the courts located in Edmonton, Alberta, unless applicable consumer law requires otherwise.
16) Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms and change the “Last updated” date. If changes are material, we will provide additional notice where required.
